A new contemporary art fair highlights Latin America in Paris!

1. Feminine noun
Intention, object, or purpose, generally specific.

2. Verb ‘to look’ conjugated in the third person singular
To direct the view towards an object. Also used as intransitive and as a pronominal.

MIRA in Spanish has two meanings: intention, object or purpose, usually concrete; or to direct the eye to an object. MIRA comes to Paris to direct the eye to works never seen before, putting the Latin American region at the heart of the European art scene. It is an experience to discover the cultural and artistic richness of Latin America!

From September 18 to 22, 2024, the Maison de l’Amérique Latine will host the first edition of the MIRA Art Fair, a pioneering initiative that allows us to make Latin American art visible in Paris, through about twenty galleries.

Managed by a passionate team, MIRA aims to highlight the vitality, diversity and contemporaneity of Latin American art. MIRA Art Fair recognizes and prioritizes the need to be key players in the ecological transition, and therefore maintains sustainability in the essence of its proposal.

Visitors will be able to discover and enjoy Latin American art, currently little known in Paris, in a sustainable way.

Registrations for the galleries will open on January 12, 2024.
